Amy and Sam wanted a low-key wedding with just close family and friends. She found the perfect venue and also the perfect wedding dress.  We feel so privileged to receive such lovely and intimate wedding photos from our Real Brides, thank you both!

Where did you meet? 

We met at work. We were in different departments but our paths crossed a lot and the rest, as they say, is history!

Where did you get married and why did you choose that venue? 

We wanted a very small and low-key wedding so we opted for a registry office ceremony followed by an afternoon tea reception at the Woodlands Park Hotel in Surrey. It was the first and only venue we viewed as we just knew it was the one as soon as we arrived.

Tell us about the dress!

I knew I didn't want a floor-length dress but otherwise didn't have a clear picture in my head of what I was looking for. I stumbled across Alie Street while browsing online, loved the Evangeline so ordered and kept my fingers crossed it would fit. Thankfully it did!

Do you have any advice for other brides planning a wedding?

Plan the day you want, not what you think is expected of you. We kept it very small and relaxed and had a fantastic (and stress-free) day because of it.

Any fun facts to share?

We got married 15 years to the day we became "official".
